Erica Deutsch founded Chaos Untangled® from a simple but powerful realization: when our environments feel calm and thoughtfully organized, everything else in life becomes easier to manage.
The Beginning…
Chaos Untangled® was founded by Erica Deutsch — a Registered Nurse, boutique marine interior specialist, and professional organizer with a deep appreciation for how our environments influence the way we feel and function.
Throughout her career in healthcare, Erica witnessed firsthand how stress, overwhelm, and environmental chaos can quietly affect a person’s wellbeing. Patients often struggled not only with physical health challenges, but also with the mental load created by disorganized or overwhelming surroundings.
Over time, she began to recognize something powerful: when a space becomes thoughtfully organized, people often experience an immediate sense of relief.
That realization stayed with her long after leaving the clinical setting and eventually led to the creation of Chaos Untangled®.
